My Bio
I'm an OC character artist and DIY addict that works full time as a graphic designer, in the heart of the Redwoods in Northern California. About 5 hours North of San Francisco and 100 miles South of the Oregon Border.
I dabble in all things creative, and am learning every day. I'm trying really hard to develop my style and get into digital painting. I suck at coloring but hope that by the end of the year that won't be true anymore.
I use a Fujitsu Lifebook T900 for my digital art and a Nikon D7100 or Droid Turbo 2 for my photos/uploads.
A few really good friends of mine are hardcore Bronies, and keep asking me to do stuff for them, so you'll see a lot of that in my gallery. After my first Bronycon in 2017, I realized I should probably take the OC name that was in my head and put in print - so I did a Google search for MLP names, "Contour", "Concept" and came up with zilch... so, GOOD... it looks like Contour Concept will not step on anyone's hooves. So, yeah - my personal artist online name thingee OC: Contour Concept. This has been bouncing around in my head since about 2015, but has never made it past a sticky note until now.
If you like my style, I'm open to commissions.

A few weeks ago, I bought ~adamlhumphreys (https://www.deviantart.com/adamlhumphreys) Adam Humphrey's Pony Plush Pattern #21 and I've been practicing with it.
Yesterday I casually asked my boss how much he'd charge me to use the plotter to blow it up as big as I possibly could.
He said it was fine, go wild, as long as I don't go wild. (He's so funny, I really love working for him.)
So... I blew it up about as big as the printer roll could handle, and printed it on the same paper we use for our back-lit posters. This will make it an absolute DREAM to use on a light board (my glass coffee table, lol) so I can trace it onto pattern paper over and over! I did read the licensing on

Storm in the Room Brain Dump

I just found out about the Storm in the Room episode of SU, and while I haven't watched it yet just the review I found, there's a LOT here I can relate to with Steven. I'm working on a sketch for this, but I wanted to get my thoughts down now, while they're fresh.
Growing up understanding that there is a type of love that everyone should have, but you never knew, is something people never really get over. They learn to cope, they learn to live, they might even grow to be genuinely happy and at peace, but every once and a while, something will happen that will remind them of the absence and whether you're 14 or 41, the wound splits right back

I was looking for reference pictures earlier with the tags, "renaissance", "medieval", "tavern" and came across some cosplay with a couple wearing wolf-pelt cloaks complete with heads.
An old roommate of mine was a hardcore furry, I know how realistic the fake heads can be, so I clicked it thinking it was just really well crafted. Turns out they were real. Two wolves, dead, for cosplay.
I admit I wouldn't be this upset over a bear pelt; you can eat bear meat. I've had bear jerky. Nobody eats wolves.
Plus, I had a wolf-dog when I was a kid (yes, illegal, I didn't know where my mom got him and we lived way out in the mountains). His name was
